Every product at Friszon is made in a small kitchen in T.Nagar, Chennai — the same kitchen where this family has been cooking for decades. We sell only what we would confidently eat ourselves. That is not a marketing line. It is the operating principle behind every batch we make.
How we make our products
Small batch only. Every product is roasted in 5–7 kg batches. We do not stockpile. We do not produce in advance and store. Every batch leaves our kitchen within 10 days of roasting.
No bulk manufacturing. We do not use contract manufacturers or outsourced production facilities. Every product is made in-house, by people we know, using the same process every time.
Hand-roasted ingredients. Our podis and ready mixes are hand-roasted — not machine-processed at volume. The roasting is done in open kadais, the same way it has always been done in South Indian kitchens.
No preservatives, no palm oil, no artificial additives. Our products contain no added preservatives, no palm oil, no anti-caking agents, no MSG, no artificial colours, and no flavour enhancers. Ingredient lists are on every product page and every pouch.
Hygiene standards at our kitchen
- All preparation and packaging done in a clean, dry, enclosed kitchen space
- Food-grade packaging only — no reuse of containers or pouches
- All products sealed and packaged immediately after roasting and cooling
- Dry spoon policy enforced at all stages — no moisture contact with products
- Regular cleaning and sanitisation of all equipment and surfaces
- No cross-contamination between product batches
Packaging and shelf life
All products are packed in food-safe, airtight standup pouches with zip-lock closures. Manufacture date and best-before date are printed on every pouch. Shelf life varies by product — refer to individual product pages for exact shelf life.

All products are manufactured in compliance with FSSAI food safety standards. Nutritional information displayed on product pages and packaging is based on laboratory testing.
